On Monday prime Minister Imran Khan stated that he will make sure that police and bureaucracy in Sindh will stay away from the politics.
He said it in a meeting with PTI Sindh leader Haleem Adil Shaikh who was recently released from the jail on bail.
PTI leader Haleem Adil Shaikh is representing PTI in Sindh. Prime Minister called him for a meeting in Islamabad after he released from jail.
As per the resources Shaikh shared the negative comments about the Sindh police involving in politics. He added that Sindh bureaucracy also is being impacted by the politics.
Prime Minister Imran Khan ensured that he will cleanse the Sindh police and bureaucracy of politics.
Previously, Shaikh was sent to jail and later was granted bail by the Sindh High Court. Also, as per the court's order, he submitted 2 safety bonds of around 0.2 millions each.
Haleem was arrested by police for allegedly having illegal weapons at the time of by elections in Karachi. He was also blamed for unnecessarily dealing with an operation that was going on against the encroachment. This all happened on 16th of Feb 2021.
Also, the event held to the area PS88 by-election was remarked against him. He allegedly involved in a fight between PPP and PTI workers. The was was registered against him with the unfavorable situation at Memon Goth Police station. That station comes in Malir District.
Police filed the FIR against the Sindh apposition leader Haleem Adil Shaikh and an anti-terror and related provisions were added in the filed FIR.
