TLP and govt have the same objective but our methods are different: PM Imran

Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed the nation yesterday. In his address, Imran Khan said that the situation in the country has been deplorable since last week, which is why I decided to address the nation. He added that Pakistan is the only country built in the name of Islam. He said that I have traveled all over Pakistan and the people of Pakistan, no matter how sinful they may be, but Muhammad (peace be upon him) lives in their hearts.

That is why wherever in the world the honor of Muhammad (peace be upon him) is insulted, Pakistanis are especially hurt. He also said that this problem affects not only Pakistanis but also Muslims around the world. He said that a religious party thinks that perhaps it is more virtuous than other Pakistanis. And that is why this religious party has created the worst situation in the country, which is highly reprehensible.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he understands the pain of this party. He further added that the method of protest of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan is very wrong and harming one's own country and it is very inappropriate. Imran Khan asked Tehreek-e-Libek whether the series of blasphemous sketches would stop after the deportation of the French ambassador.

Imran Khan further said that he knows there has been various negative propaganda regarding freedom of speech in European countries. He further asked that after the deportation of the French ambassador, what is the guarantee that other European countries will also be stopped from doing bad deeds?

The insulting sketches took place in France while the Labbaik movement is harming its own country. Continuing his address, Imran Khan said that the decision to deport the ambassador would not affect France. No action was taken in this regard in more than 50 Muslim countries in the world while Pakistan was completely shut down in a single day.

"Our economy has been stabilized by major difficulties, but such conditions will have a detrimental effect on our economy,"

he added. To end French relations means to end relations with European countries, which is very harmful for us.

Prime Minister Imran Khan further said that more than half of our textile exports go to European countries. And if our relations with European countries deteriorate, it will have an impact on Pakistan's economy. In all these situations, the loss is only for Pakistan. There is no loss for France.

Imran Khan said that talks were going on with our Tehreek-e-Lubaik Pakistan when suddenly he called for a nationwide protest. Imran Khan further said that these circumstances forced us to declare Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan as banned organization.

Sharing the data, Imran Khan said that so far more than 40 police vehicles have been severely damaged and property worth crores of rupees has been damaged. Four police officers have been martyred so far and more than 800 injured. He added that more than 100 main highways were blocked, leaving civilians stranded in ambulances. He said that anti-national elements took full advantage of this situation.

More than 600 Indian websites are trying their best to spread chaos in Pakistan. Enemy elements spread the fake news that civil war has started in Pakistan. Imran Khan also expressed regret with the political parties of Pakistan and said that some political parties are  involved in harming Pakistan along with the propaganda of the enemy.
